MercyMe Fort Wayne Concert reviews
the chris tomlin and mercyme concerts were so painfully loud
we had to leave after the second mercyme song. we were so uncomfortable! we started in row 2 on the floor. i felt like someone was hitting me in the chest with a board each time the drummer would foot pedal the bass drum. we quickly retreated 150’ further up into the stands for some physical relief. it was better but still painful! i had earplugs in and felt like i was receiving cpr! my wife developed a significant headache! it is very sad and we are very discouraged! we thought a christian concert would not exceed the noise of a rock concert. what is so sad is the groups are two of my favorites and when the drums weren’t rocking our world the vocals were amazing! the story i make up is that the man on the sound board is legally deaf and must feel the reverb to know the sound board is working. we dropped significant coin on this concert and both left feeling traumatized by the experience.
